Communitelligence.com | This is a commercial US-based communications knowledge-sharing portal built by Communitelligence Inc. When last we checked it was free as part of the start-up phase but please advise us if there is now a membership fee. Its stated goal is to "help improve organizational and human communication by giving Communications, PR and Marketing professionals instant access to expert-led knowledge communities, learning events, resources, associations, schools and businesses." It uses self-publishing technologies "to allow topic experts and members to build comprehensive, ever-evolving wisdom-sharing communities on key communication topics, from internal communications to intranets to visual literacy and writing". In other words, materials are not peer reviewed or academic but there are some excellent practical and 'how-to' items on site. | (I, C) | |
