Michael C Camit is the Marketing Communication Coordinator for the New South Wales (NSW) Multicultural Health Communication Service in Australia. He also teaches Advertising Promotions Management at TAFE (Technical & Further Education College). Michael has 13 years' experience in developing social marketing initiatives and is currently enrolled in a Masters in Marketing (Research) degree at the University of Wollongong.
Kane Hopkins teaches News Media Processes, Professional Presentation in Business, and Public Relations at Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand. He has a working background in newspaper, radio, and public relations but has returned to Massey to complete his PhD. Kane's doctoral research looks at new forms of computer based media (in particular, blogs), their role in democracy, their relationships to traditional media, and their wider social context. He also has an interest in student media, such as b.net and chaff, and how students use these mediums. Kane researched public information campaigns and their effects on behaviour for his Master's thesis. He is also an avid collector of vinyl and a handy social cricketer.
Dr Gary Noble is Director of the Centre for Social Marketing Research in the Faculty of Commerce at the University of Wollongong, Australia. His research interests include the development of social marketing campaigns with minority groups and the evaluation of social marketing interventions. Gary is also an advisor to various not-for-profit organisations and government departments on social marketing campaigns.
